Environmental Testing Services
XRF Research provides environmental testing and consulting for lead, asbestos, mold, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, chemistry, and related hazardous-material questions in San Diego and Southern California.
Many projects begin with an uncertain question: what material is present, whether it can be disturbed safely, whether cleanup was effective, or whether a condition needs documentation before renovation, demolition, sale, leasing, or occupancy. We help narrow the question, choose the right testing approach, and prepare reports that clients can actually use.
Core Service Areas
- Lead testing, lead inspections, risk assessments, clearances, and project monitoring
- Asbestos testing, bulk sampling, surveys, clearances, and project monitoring
- Mold and moisture-related investigations
- Indoor air quality testing and source-oriented investigations
- Industrial hygiene and workplace exposure assessments
- Chemistry consulting, material identification, and data interpretation
How We Scope a Project
The right scope depends on the property, the reason for testing, the materials involved, and how the results will be used. A small residential sampling visit is different from a demolition survey, a legal matter, a worker exposure assessment, or a multi-building project. When the scope is uncertain, we recommend starting with a short consultation so the work is sized correctly.
