Founded in 2010 by Javier Gonzalez, Ph.D., XRF Research, Inc. is a California environmental consulting firm specializing in lead, asbestos, mold, indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, and related testing services. We combine scientific training with practical field experience to help clients understand environmental hazards, meet regulatory requirements, and make informed decisions.

We are a small company by design. Clients work with a responsive team that pays attention to details, communicates clearly, and takes pride in producing careful, defensible reports. Whether the project is a residential lead inspection, an asbestos survey, a mold investigation, or field support for a larger construction project, our goal is the same: quality work, fast follow-up, and information clients can actually use.
