Asbestos Project Monitoring
Asbestos project monitoring provides independent on-site oversight during asbestos abatement, renovation, or cleanup work. XRF Research helps property owners, managers, contractors, and public agencies document conditions, observe containment and work practices, and evaluate whether required clearance or air monitoring steps have been completed.
The scope depends on the project. A small residential abatement may require a focused clearance visit, while a larger commercial or public project may require pre-abatement review, daily site observations, air monitoring, documentation, and final clearance reporting.
Project Monitoring May Include
- Review of work plans, notifications, and project scope
- Observation of containment setup and work area controls
- Personal, area, or clearance air sampling when appropriate
- Visual clearance inspections after removal or cleanup
- Documentation for owners, consultants, contractors, or regulatory files
When to Call Before Work Starts
Call before disturbing suspect materials or beginning abatement. Early review helps clarify whether the job needs bulk sampling, a survey, project monitoring, clearance testing, or coordination with an abatement contractor.
