We carry out project oversight for lead abatement projects in California. The Lead Project Monitor license is issued by the California Department of Public to industrial hygienists who do this work in the state. If you need help with project design or have a contractual requirement to monitor a project that involves lead, our staff can help.
The Lead Project Monitor may develop abatement work specifications or health and safety plans and may inspect the worksite to make sure the work follows specifications. Air monitoring or surface sampling may be carried out to ensure that the containment is effective. Lead Project Monitors are also able to carry out lead clearances when the work is complete.
